I'm fairly new to the running scene(about 5 months), but have decided I would like to qualify for and run the Boston Marathon. So far my personal bests are:
5k - 25:07
10k - 53:48
1/2 - 2:04:30
1/2 - 1:50:25
Short-Term Running Goals:
First of all I would like to finish a Marathon. Next in my list of goals is to improve all of my race times. After that I would like to be able to qualify for Boston.
Long-Term Running Goals:
My long term goals are to keep myself in shape and to continue to enjoy running. I would love to start winning some races for my age group(32.5) and progress from there.
Personal:
I'm married and have 4 children. I manage a software development team and end up sitting in an office for 8+ hours a day. Running is my escape from the daily grind.
